We also have Fruit Share options available to add to your veggie subscription:

1. Add a Fruit Share option (weekly or bi-weekly) to your Main Season subscription — includes seasonal cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, apples and pears from Snowy Mountain Organics in Cawston, BC.  This share option runs until the end of October.  This option is not customizable.

2. Add a November Fruit Share extension (weekly or bi-weekly) to your subscription into November to take advantage of fall varieties of apples and pears.  This option is not customizable.

• Each weekly box of vegetables is $50/week (50  credits).  

• Each weekly Fruit Share option is $36/week (available from July to end of October) and an optional extension at $22/week in November.

• *NEW* this year: make payments using online banking (for credit union members only)!  Choose Close to Home Organics as the payee, and use your last name and initial as the account number.

• Payment plan options include: 

  • 1 payment (At Sign-up); 

  • 2 installments (One at Sign-up and June 1);

  • 6 installments (One at Sign-up and monthly payments on June 1, July 1, August  1, September 1 and October 1);

• An administrative fee ($1 plus GST/PST) is charged at sign-up for each of your delivery weeks. This administrative fee helps us to cover many of the administrative aspects of our CSA, including: our CSA management software (which allows members the flexibility to customize their CSA box, place delivery holds and change their pick-up location); managing inventory for a diverse online store; and hiring (at a fair, living wage) our administrator who adds value to the CSA experience through the creation of a weekly newsletter, recipe ideas, and who is able to monitor the email diligently to address member concerns promptly.  We think that's pretty good value at $1/delivery!

 Main Season Produce Share  - delivered on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (depending on your pick-up location):

• FULL Share subscription is weekly from June 4/ 5/ 6 to November 26/ 27/ 28

• HALF Share subscription is bi-weekly:

  • The "ODD" cohort will begin June 4/5/6 and end November 19/ 20/ 21.

  • The "EVEN" cohort will begin June 11/12/13 and end November 26/ 27/ 28.

Our online store continues to evolve and will feature even more products in 2025.  It is also what you will use to customize your weekly produce box.

• Items with a 'credit' value are available for customization; you can swap them 'in' to replace an item you've removed from your box.  These include herbs, veggies and select fruit and berries.

• Items with a '$' value are available for purchase in addition to your weekly box and will include items like fruit, mushrooms, pasta, chocolate, grains and pulses, salad dressings, salmon products and more (store contents will continue to evolve)! 

• Positive balances in your account (assigned when you place a delivery hold) can be used to purchase items with either a 'credit' or '$' value associated with them.

• You can supplement your box at any time with any item from the store.  1 credit = $1.
